Anthony Guerrée
Anthony Guerrée is a French designer, born in Normandy in 1987. He lives and works in Paris. His career reflects a deep attachment to high-quality craftsmanship and the history of decorative arts. Trained at the École Boulle, his passion for the interior designers of the 1930s led him to join Studio Andrée Putman in 2010 to work on projects with major companies and design custom furniture for architecture. He then joined Christophe Delcourt in 2015, working with him for five years on the design of the Delcourt Collection furniture as well as on various collaborations with publishers.
In 2020, Anthony Guerrée opened his own design studio to develop his own style, inspired by his travels, encounters, and reading. Through his first manifesto project entitled “Les Assises Du Temps Perdu” (The Seats of Lost Time), a collection of chairs inspired by characters from Marcel Proust, Anthony Guerrée reveals his approach to design: “I like the idea of designing collections as one would write stories.” In 2022, his “Verdurin” chair-screen was added to the Mobilier National collections.
