Marguerite Porche is a ceramic artist based in Lyon, France. She shapes stoneware by hand in her studio, creating everyday objects, tableware, decorative items, and small pieces of furniture.

Nature is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for her. When she is not shaping flowers, she imagines pieces of rock, slowly sculpted by the flow of water. Convinced that our environment influences our emotional balance, the artist brings minerals into our homes.

With a strong focus on the functional aspect of a piece, she wants to turn these “chosen objects” into everyday works of art with which stories are woven and passed on. Each of her pieces is unique, sometimes produced in small series. At the intersection of art and craftsmanship, functional furniture and decorative pieces, her work is firmly rooted in the era of Collectible Design.
