Designer, cabinetmaker, and sculptor Maxime Goléo creates contemporary solid wood furniture, either as one-off pieces or limited editions, in his workshop in Bordeaux. His pieces are halfway between furniture and sculpture. He is interested in nature, tension, articulation, and movement. He moves away from geometric and rectilinear forms to embrace organic, sensual, and refined lines.

His creations are to be seen, touched, and felt. With their bold and expressive forms, his objects provoke emotions that invite a multifaceted sensory experience. They interact with the user beyond their functional aspect. He is interested in the aura of objects and their influence on the individual.
