Maxime Perrolle
Wood sculptor Maxime Perrolle develops a contemporary body of work deeply connected to the living world. Born in 1989 and trained in the skills of cabinetmaking and artistic woodturning, he shapes wood as an expressive, sensitive and organic material.
Based at JAD – Jardins des Métiers d'Art et du Design (Gardens of Arts and Crafts and Design) in Sèvres – he favors handcrafting for the precision of the gesture, the richness of the textures, and the intimate relationship with the material. At the boundary between sculpture and furniture, his pieces engage in a dialogue with space and time, appealing to galleries, luxury brands, and collectors seeking a sincere and understated luxury.
