Table lamp "Au Printemps"

Julie Robert discovered weaving in Iceland in 2013, then brought ceramics into her practice, including sculptural stoneware lamps. For Au Printemps, she observes each year the emergence of peonies on the hills of the south before capturing that movement in raw chamotte stoneware, preserving the hand's gesture in each petal. The transparent crackle glaze reveals the volumes with delicacy. Each piece is unique.
