Table lamp Eclosion

A sculptural piece unlike any other, the Eclosion lamp is born of patient hand-modeling: the structure is coated in paper pulp, then flowers, each a different colour and thickness, are affixed one by one, creating a relief that is at once organic and mineral. Inspired by the fragility of living things that defines Emma Karila's practice.
